ENERGY CURRICULUM OVERVIEW - with The Alay'nya Studio

 

The following table (*) overviews our "esoteric energy" class component, organized by quarter. If you have been studying with us for a while, you will note the connection between quarters and "Levels" of study.

All Beginners, regardless of the time of year in which they start with us, will be doing the "Winter" or "Grounding" studies during their Beginner's Curriculum.

We will typically address the other topics at the right time of the year, knowing that topics need to be adjusted to whoever is in a given class. For example, we do not expect someone who has recently graduated from a Beginner's class to take on "transitioning between spirals." So we will teach those students simplified versions of the topic. More advanced students, though, can see when and where they'll be addressing different "energy aspects" of their dance training.
